- The PHBA Fall Golf Outing was held on October 22nd, at Williamsburg National Golf Club.  The teams enjoyed the great weather as they battled it out on the Yorktown Course.  Everyone had a great time, especially the winning teams:  1st Place - Fulton Bank;  2nd Place - Mike Tyndall Enterprises, Inc.  A very special Thank You to Williamsburg National for graciously donating the course for our event.  Don't miss our Spring Tournament in May 2010!

 

-The PHBA Annual Casino Night and Auction was held on September 17th, at the Kiln Creek Golf Club in Newport News.  PHBA Members and their guests packed the "Casino" for a great night of Blackjack, Texas Hold'em, Roulette and Craps, while they competed for their favorite items in the silent auction.  The live auction followed with lots of great donated items, including a 26" Flat Panel HD TV, a Weekend at Wintergreen, Custom-made Granite Serving Boards, Spa Packages and much, much more!

-Our Annual SummerFest took place on Wednesday, July 15th.  The event was moved to Williams Field at The Mariners' Museum this year, which gave us a lot more room to have fun!  The weather was great and the field was full, with almost 1,000 attendees this year.  There was lots of great food and plenty of cold beverages provided by PHBA Members.  In addition to the always-popular Nail Driving, sponsored by Carter Lumber Company this year, there was also Cornhole, sponsored by Atlantic Bay Mortgage, and a sod-rolling contest, sponsored by Riverside Turf.
