Peninsula Remodelers Council

A group of business owners founded the Peninsula Remodelers Council in 1980 to promote professionalism, integrity and quality work within the remodeling industry. Pledging to adhere to a Code of Ethics, members wanted to make it easier for the public to hire qualified and honest contractors. Today, PRC is made up of remodelers, subcontractors and suppliers who also are members of the Peninsula Housing & Builders Association, as well as NAHB Remodelers.

Remodeling a home can add more space for a growing family, meet the needs of an aging population and increase a home’s resale value. As the remodeling industry grows, the Peninsula Remodelers Council will continue to offer tips on how to plan for improvements and select a qualified remodeler to take the guesswork and surprises out of your remodeling experience. PRC strives to counsel consumers by providing information about how to select and interview a contractor and what to expect during a remodeling project.

David Cross, of Cross Remodeling is the current chairman of the local council. For more information, contact the Peninsula Remodelers Council of the PHBA at (757) 595-1600.
