Founded in 1982, the NAHB Remodelers of the National Association of Home Builders represents and serves the interests of more than 14,000 remodeling industry members.
The Peninsula Remodelors Council (PRC) of the Peninsula Housing & Builders Association (PHBA) currently has 63 members. Tony Reed, of T.R. Construction, Inc., is the current PRC Chair, as well as a member of the PHBA Board of Directors.
The Peninsula Remodelers Council, which represents remodelers, subcontractors and suppliers, was started by a group of business owners in 1980. Its role was to promote professionalism and integrity within the remodeling industry, and to make the public aware that there are qualified and honest contractors out there who do quality work. The Peninsula Remodelors Council strives to counsel consumers by offering referrals, information about how to select and interview a contractor and what to expect during the remodeling project.
Remodeling a home can add more space for a growing family or meet the needs of an aging population, but can also increase the home’s resale value. As the remodeling industry continues to grow, the Peninsula Remodelors Council will be there to offer tips on how to plan for your improvements, select a remodeler, and follow-up, when necessary, on problems you may encounter during your remodeling experience.
